The History of Hazrat Yahya A.S ka Waqia
YahyΔ b. ZakariyyΔ (a) (Arabic: ΫΨΫΫ Ψ¨Ω Ψ²Ϊ©Ψ±ΫΨ§) or John (a) was an Israelite prophet. He turned into a prophet when he was a kid. The narrative of Yahya's (a) birth, in spite of his matured dad and fruitless mother, is referenced in the Qur'an. Yahya (a) was known for his plainness and his plentiful sobbing in stunningness of God. In Shiite customs, the suffering of Imam al-Husayn (a) is compared to Yahya's (a) shocking flight, and the imamate of Imam al-Jawad (a), Imam al-Hadi (a), and Imam al-Mahdi (a) in their experience growing up is compared to Yahya's (a) prophethood in his life as a youngster.
Mandeans see themselves as the supporters of Yahya (a). In the Umayyad Mosque in Damascus, there is a remembrance known as Yahya's (a) grave.
Birth
Zachariah (a), Yahya's (a) father, was childless until his maturing years. At some point, when he saw woman Mary (a) and the wonderful endowments that God had gave to her[1], he asked God for a kid, "My Ruler! Award me a decent posterity from You! Without a doubt, You hear all supplications".[2] In his request, he referenced his absence of heirs[3] and his trepidation from his family members after his death[4]. Accordingly, God guaranteed him that he would have a kid named Yahya,[5] despite the fact that he was old and his significant other was desolate. Yahya's (a) mother, Elizabeth, was Mary's aunt,[6] and her marvelous pregnancy was concurrent with that of Mary (a).[7] Some have said that Yahya — got from the root h y (to live) (Arabic: Ψ-Ϋ-Ϋ) — was so named on the grounds that God removed the desolateness of Elizabeth and some way or another "restored" her; others have said that it was on the grounds that God made him with confidence or with prophethood. Nobody was named so before him.[8]
Prophethood
Yahya (a) turned into a prophet when he was a kid. One of his qualities was the way that he was a confirmer of Jesus (a).[9] Yahya (a) followed and advanced the shari'a of Moses (a), yet when Jesus (a) turned into a prophet, he followed him. As per verifiable sources, Yahya (a) was a half year senior than Jesus (a) and was the primary individual to affirm and trust in Jesus' (a) prophethood. Attributable to his devotion and virtuousness, his Jesus' (a) affirmation impacted many individuals to trust in him.[10]
'That's what allama Tabataba'i states "the book" referenced in the Qur'an [11] that Yahya (a) is requested to hang on with power is Torah.[12]
Suffering
The grave of Yahya (a) in Umayyad Mosque
As per a hadith from Imam al-Sajjad (a), an Israelite lord became hopelessly enamored with one of his mahram family members and needed to wed her. Yahya (a) went against this choice, and his resistance prompted the antagonism of the young lady and her mom towards him. Subsequently, the young lady's mom provoked her little girl to request Yahya's (a) head as a condition for the marriage. The Israelite lord concurred and executed Yahya (a) and sent his head in a brilliant dish to the girl.[13]
Likeness between Imam al-Husayn (a) and Yahya (a)
It is accounted for that the sky and earth sobbed both when Yahya (a) was killed and when Imam al-Husayn (a) was martyred.[14] The Imam (a) would recall Yahya (a) and his homicide while heading to Karbala.[15] As indicated by a hadith, the sobbing of the sky and earth happened exclusively for Yahya (a) and al-Husayn (a).[16]
